The SanDisk Ultra II SD PLUS, an innovative SD flash memory card with built-in USB connectivity. The new card, which works seamlessly in any SD card slot, also can be used as a high-speed USB 2.0 flash drive. The new dual-functionality device has been added to the SanDisk Ultra II product line, a family of high-performance flash memory cards with write speeds of 9 megabytes per second and read speeds of 10MB/sec. great new gadget with the same great SD
Strengths: small, fast (ultra) and the best part is the flip down usb plug. forget the cables and even use it as a flash memory. great
Weakness: it has small plastic hinges so be gentle.
i was about to get the regular 1gig SD when i saw this one with the usb conection. i dont like tons of cables coming out of my laptop and this little gadget saved me that troble. ferthermore, i got a little key chain with it to cary it around so it can be used as a flash memory, tiny in size and big in memory its two great products in one.

I've really enjoyed using this...
Strengths: Card access is extremely fast. Ability to plug directly into the computer's USB port.
Weakness: The hinges on the flap that covers the USB port seem frail. There is also no key on the USB side of the card so you can plug it in upside down.
I've really enjoyed using this card as it is quick on moving data and I don't need an adapter to plug it into my computer. I am concerned the hinges on the USB flap will break. If they do, it will be really difficult to insert and remove the card from the SD slot of my camera. Also note that the card can be put in backwards in the USB slot. This didn't seem to cause any problems; it just didn't...

The first advantage of the Sandisk 1 GB Ultra II SD Plus Card is its size. The card is about the size of a postage stamp. Sandisk 1GB Secure Digital Ultra II Plus Card
Strengths: Capacity, speed, convenience...
Weakness: Cost,durability???...
I purchased this a week ago and have been very happy with the performance. As a portable USB drive, it is very convenient and fast. I also use it as my secondary storage on my Palm Treo 650. It works perfect.
