I have spent a month downloading,...
Strengths: none
Weakness: Not compatible with Windows 98 Limited compatiblity with older versions of Linux
I have spent a month downloading, configuring, compiling and installing driver's to make this card work inside of Red Hat Linux 7.3.. I could have just updated my Linux system to Fedora Core 3 but I would have lost all the backward compatiblities and the stablity that Red Hat Linux 7.3 has to offer. I have purchased many D-link products in the past but if their products are going to be like this...

My other D-Link G650 got busted...
Strengths: Excellent range, Easy Setup, Good support from D-Link if you are a novice.
Weakness: None noted!
My other D-Link G650 got busted during a T-Storm and it was dropping wi-fi networks or simply not sniffing 'em out. I went to Best Buy and got the DWL-650 because I frequently connect at 11 Mbps and all the hype about Extreme G and 108 Mbps connection did not convince me to buy the G650 again. In this day and age of on-line...
Strengths: Instant connection, indistinguishable from hardwiring
Weakness: rebooted my computer 3 times before internet was up
In this day and age of on-line customer support, D-link has all the competition beat! I talked to customer support, they fixed the problem and it had nothing to do with my D-link product, which by the way i applaud, it is seamless I have 3 laptops and a laserprinter all hooked up wirelessly to my desktop. Easy to follow diagrammatic instructions and wide support.

I've been using this for a month...
Strengths: Easy to use, Fast Speeds, Quick Install, Great free upgrades, Good Range, and Great Reliability on Connections
Weakness: N/A
I've been using this for a month and it has been a great wireless adapter in my laptop. I've gotten great results with range, speed, and reliability since the install. Plus D-Link just released a new firmware for this card and the DI-624 (11g Router/AP) that allows for twice the speed of what you get before. That means it is 54Mbps and with the upgrade (free download) you get 108Mbps. It really...
