Good large cooler....And Ninja silent.

Strengths: Extremly good cooling. Can be used without fan under the right conditions. The Antec P180 case and this cooler, a marriage made in heaven! Most of the weight at the bottom of the sink. Great looks.

Weakness: Tall, may not fit some midtower cases. The included fan is noisy. Check motherboard compability on Scythe home.

I had a Thermalright XP 90 before this, with a 92mm fan on it. This is a good "horizontal cooler". But I could'nt find a fan for it that did have a really good balance between low noise and cooling ability. And as the "tower coolers", like the Ninja often is more effective than the horizontal heatsinks ( The horizontal heatsinks, are better at cooling the components around the socket though) I...

Excellent, but really tall

Strengths: Good cooling. Huge fan, 10 heatpipes, copper base, easy to install

Weakness: VERY TALL, lacks fan controller

So far as aesthetics are concerned, it looks great in a case. It's big, has tons of fins and has a that shiny brushed steel top. The fan is huge and covers the entire side of the heatsink. It is quite wide. On most modern placements of RAM, this heatsink may make it difficult to access the memory. Overall, the performance is excellent, but it needs to be...not so tall. It is VERY tall.
