AMD Athlon 64 FX-51 - 2.2GHz Processor

Strengths: Speed, Future Proof, runs faster than Intel! When Windows XP64 comes out, you can run the fastest windows ever! Access to up to 8 GB of RAM

Weakness: Price is the only issue.

Love it, I'm a multimedia guy, so having this will allow me to continue to run circles around that other 64 bit platform(see apple). I can run Photoshop CS when it gets the 64-bit recompile and then all my applications faster and faster. Development tools will all benefit from the increased performance plus the 64 bit registers...and the buffer ofverflow protection built into all 64-bit...

AMD Athlon 64 FX-51 - 2.2GHz Processor

Strengths: This processor does exactly what it is designed for. It is extremely fast, stable, and allows you to multitask like nothing you've seen.

Weakness: Price is probably the only weakness I can think of. But, if you want the fastest processor on the block...

Many people complain about the price. But, unfortunately, it is always this way with new technology. Give it some time and you will be able to pick it up much cheaper. But, then, you will be looking at the FX-53. If you play a lot of games and want the fastest processor, go for it.

AMD Athlon 64 FX-51 - 2.2GHz Processor

Strengths: its speed and efficiency!!!!!!!!

Weakness: heating up and price!!!!!!!!

its a great processor, but WAY TOO PRICY!! if you are looking to use it as a gaming processor, then its the best 4 u, but if your looking to use it as just a non gaming and average pc owner...its not 4 u unless u want super fast loading applications, which we all want.
