Description
The Wireless-G WAP54GX Access Point with SRX connect Wireless-G (IEEE 802.11g), Wireless-B (IEEE 802.11b), and new SRX enhanced devices to wired network without the cabling hassle. The Wireless-G WAP54GX Access Point with SRX combines smart antenna technology with standards-based Wireless-G (IEEE 802.11g) networking. By overlaying the signals of two Wireless-G compatible radios, the "Multiple In, Multiple Out" (MIMO) technology effectively doubles the data rate. And unlike ordinary wireless networking technologies that are confused by signal reflections, MIMO actually uses these reflections to increase the range and reduce "dead-spots" in the wireless coverage area.

Item returned becasue it does not work in WPA/WPA2-Enterprise mode. My WAP54Gs work fine, I will stick with them. The GX is not worth the money; cheaper to use multiple WAPs than to deploy this thing. IMHO SRx not yet ready for prime time.

Works great
Strengths: Reliability
I provide internet access to several tenants in a large facility. 75 users X 6 tenants, approximately 450 users, each on a separate VLAN. So far this is the only wireless AP that we don't have to reset every morning. Support calls have dropped off dramatically. Well worth the money.
